On A Missionhome

I was born on this world and my soul is collective
At the moment of inception I broke through contraceptive
No choice but to accept it in sperm form I swarmed
The rules of this world are easily torn

Lets jump to me at age 3, Climbin up my family tree
Mom’s could barley handle me and my pops never knew me
But regardless of the mischievous games I played
My mother’s young son was pretty bright for his age

Let’s jump to age 6 where my peers were pricks
I was the white boy minority putting up with Hawaiian shit
“Hey Hawley, you aint at all lke us,
You thinking you hot shit then you try come fight us

Now by age 8 I realized the pain of race hate
Attended an all black school the pupils spit in my face
Age 10 Hawaiian islands again
It’s like ya cut my veins open and threw me in a lions den

Noone can hold me down
I’ve got to roam around (I’m on a mission)
True pain it comes it goes
Happiness it ebs and flows (I’m on a mission)

While I keep my head
High I become the Sky (I’m on a mission)
My past self I must top
I just cannot be stopped (I’m on a mission)

At age 16 I was hoping god was listening
But he couldn’t hear my voice yet and my soul was shifting
Moved to foreign land close to Japan Korea Goddamn
Felt so alone as I became a man

Noone Understood my intense sense of isolation
Nor did I understand my dense sense of depravation
But instead of giving in and crawling in fetal position
I took deep breath a big step begun my mission

I claimed my time as mine as I sharpened my mind
By the age of 18 I was turnin my own tide
My step-father had a new wife a new daughter
So I bounced out the house in respect for the toddler

Age 21 relation-battle-ship disaster
Moved right in with a girlfriend rehearsin marriage like an actor
She coulda been the end of me she stifled my creativity
So I bounced out the house and begun my odyssey

My odyssey led me to an unknown dream
Keepin current on the music scene working for a magazine
It’s Your Music Magazine the deepest thing I’ve ever seen
Killing inferior bacteria like Listerine

So now I’m hear that’s right I’m on a mission
Composing conscious beats and rhymes just so you can listen
Nah your life aint quite like mine I know it’s true
But regardless, I know you’re on a mission to

Noone can hold me down
I’ve got to roam around (I’m on a mission)
True pain it comes it goes
Happiness it ebs and flows (I’m on a mission)

While I keep my head
High I become the Sky (I’m on a mission)
My past self I must top
I just cannot be stopped (I’m on a mission)
